The Joys of a Furry Friend

This painting reminds me of my dynamic with my own pup, Mochi.  Before I brought Mochi home 2 years ago, I could not imagine how much I would love him today.  I also have a cat, so that is double the love and double the joy. 

I am a firm believer that animals make our lives better.  Whether they are the pampered pets in our home or the wild animals that roam this earth. Therefore, we should do what we can to protect and preserve the things that bring us so much joy, and there are many ways.  There are countless animals in our cities that need homes.  Also, by being mindful of our life choices, from what we consume to how we dispose, those small decisions can tip the scale from damaging to preserving the habitats of many great species on earth. 

You can figure by now, I am passionate about the welfare of animals. Partly because I cannot imagine life without them in my home, but also because animals truly make this world a more wonderful home for us all.
